Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney tennis teams closed out their home slate for the 2015-16 season by sweeping the Concordia Bulldogs,
9-0 (men) and
7-2 (women), Wednesday evening at Harmon Park.
Prior to the match, which was moved up to a 3:30 start due to weather, seniors

Jimenez has been at UNK the past three years, beginning her career at the University of New Orleans. She is a two-time All-MIAA pick in both singles and doubles and is among the winningest players in school history.
A four-year team member, Sheridan has twice earned All-MIAA honors in doubles and will soon be a four-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll qualifier.
Sheridan helped the 21st-ranked Lopers improve to 17-2 as he teamed up with sophomore
Aaron Reekie (Houston, Texas) to win 8-5 at No. 3 doubles. UNK took the other matches by identical 8-3 scores.
Kearney rolled over CU (7-10) in singles, seeing both
Mohab El Zanaty (Egypt) and
Joey Richards (Eden Prairie, Minn.) win 6-0, 6-0.
The Loper women (16-4), after dominating Fort Hays State Tuesday night, had another easy win as they allowed just four total points in doubles.
The duo of

Jadyn Trimble, both Kearney High graduates, posted an 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles.
Finally, Jimenez (No. 3) and Papillion sophomore
Emma Neil (No. 4) won their singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores with Limbach taking her No. 6 match by almost a similar tally; 6-1, 6-0.
