Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska Kearney track and field team won six events at the weather-shortened Concordia Invitational Saturday in Seward.

Due to the weather, the sprints and hurdles were called off, several field events were held indoors with only a few distance races held.

Hastings sophomore Nolan Studley (high jump/7-1) and Kansas junior Kenyon Forest (javelin; 214-9) both had personal bests to lead the way. Studley, coming off a previous PR of 7-0.50, remains second in D2 with Forrest now in the nation's Top 15 and remaining third in Loper lore.

In the women's pole vault, UNK ranked 1-4 with Hastings freshman Megyn Scott, Holdrege senior Samantha Schemper and York junior Melanie Driewer all clearing 11-0.25. Scott won, based on judge's decision, with Kearney redshirt junior Lily Novacek first in the hammer (179-2), runner up in the discus (147-0) and fourth in the shot put 44-8.25). Finally on the women's side, Atlanta junior Hanna Stewart (124-1) and Kansas senior Brooklyn Staab (120-9) were first and third, respectively, in the javelin with Lincoln freshman Tasia Sadler leading in the high jump (5-5.25).
