Final Home Meet Moved to Sunday; Discus Saturday Afternoon

Kearney, Neb. - The annual Loper Twilight meet will now be on Sunday, May 10.

Due to potential rain and lightning on Saturday evening, most of the meet is being pushed to Sunday and then up two hours. The discus will take part on Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. (women invite, women open, men invite, & men open) as winds can aid that event.

Field events start Sunday at noon with running taking place between 3-6:30 p.m. On Friday, UNK is at Concordia and Nebraska for their respective "Last Chance" meets with select distance runners in California on Saturday.

The list of qualifiers for the NCAA Division II Championships May 21-23 in Emporia, Kan., will be announced on Tuesday (May 12) at 5 p.m. Central.
