Kearney, Neb. – Junior Kenyon Forest and sophomore Nolan Studley earned All-American honors at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships Saturday in Pueblo, Colo.

Due to weather, the schedule was moved up with both Forest and Studley competing several hours earlier than expected. The meet began Thursday and ran until Saturday night.

To start the day, Studley (Hastings) finished seventh in the high jump to earn first-team All-American honors (places one through eight). He is now the 11th Loper man to be a two-time AA as he was 10th in this event at last year's outdoor championships.

Studley cleared 6-7.50 on his second attempt, got over 6-9.50 on his third jump and then got past 6-11.50 on try three. Finally, he bowed out at 7-0.50. Grand Valley State (Mich.) went 1-2 with both clearing 7-0.50; the third-place finisher also reached that height.

Forest (Norton, Kan.) joined teammates Rylan Basart (2024) and Wyatt Hammond (2024) as javelin All-Americans thanks to a 10th place showing. Coming off the injured list, Forest's first two throws went 198-11 and 208-11. He was sitting outside the top 12 before uncorking a 216-6 effort on his third and eventually final attempt. Forest was ninth for a moment, but Jarrett Chong of Simon Fraser (Canda) passed him thanks to a 218-9 effort with Caleb Calvin of Pittsburg State (249-2) the national champ.

The Loper cross country season begins in September with indoor track starting in December.
