Kearney, Neb. - The annual Loper Invitational set for this Saturday (April 18) at Kearney High School has been pushed back a full day due to expected high winds and cooler temperatures. 

The meet will now be held on Sunday (April 19) with action beginning in the field at 11 a.m. (men's hammer & women's discus). Running events start at 1 p.m., with the meet expected to wrap around 6 p.m. UNK will then honor its "Senior Class" afterwards. Live results via Black Squirrel timing will be available.

UNK's first outdoor meet, the Central Nebraska Challenge, was also moved to a Sunday (March 29). The Lopers last home outdoor meet, UNK Twilight, is set for May 9 (Saturday).
