Kearney, Neb. – Junior forward Fernanda Rodriguez scored in each half to lift the Regis Rangers to a 4-0 win over Nebraska Kearney in Denver.

RU improves to 4-2-0 while UNK drops to 2-2-2. This was the first meeting between the two in 15 years with the Rangers now leading the series by a 3-0-2 margin.

Playing a sixth straight home game, the Reigs turned to Rodriguez to move ahead 2-0 on the scoreboard by the 68th minute. The 2025 second-team All-RMAC selection now has 17 career goals after scoring soon after a free kick in the 32nd minute and adding another goal 36 minutes later. After a throw in, she found the left corner of the UNK goal with junior forward Paige Davis getting the assist. Just three minutes later, sophomore forward Mya Paison went low center to make it a three-goal lead. Regis then had a shot go off the crossbar with an "own goal" providing the final margin

UNK fired off 11 shots but keepers Maggie Payne (four) and Helen Stenger (one) combined for five saves. Freshman Bella Spadavecchia (Greenville, S.C.) paced the Lopers with four shots while junior Daniella Iaquinta (Aurora, Colo.) and Danija Walker (Akron, Ohio) had two apiece. Next, freshman keeper Maddie King (Arvada, Colo.) had four saves over the final 10 minutes. Finally, RU had a 28-shot day led by Rodriguez (six) and Davis (four) and took the game's only corner.

The Lopers remain on the road for a third straight weekend as they began MIAA action at Emporia State (Fri.) and Rogers State (Sun.).
