The V is for victory.

Victoria Vanessa Gunawan breezed through the singles bracket at the ITA Central Regional this weekend in Kearney to earn a spot in the Small College Championships next month in Alabama.

Seeded second, Gunawan received a first round bye and then won four matches in straight sets to become the first Loper woman to win an ITA title.

Not only did Gunawan win in straight sets by she gave up just 11 points in the process.
