In his first year in a Loper uniform, Barnes (Perry Hall, Md./McCook C.C.) had one of the best weekends by a UNK baseball player in school history.

The junior outfielder/DH reached base in all 15 plate appearances at Colorado Christian, going 4 for 4 three times with three walks (one intentional).

Helping UNK score 58 runs for the weekend, the Nevada native finished the series with nine runs, 13 RBI's, three doubles and two homers.
