Coming into the weekend ranked fourth nationally, DeShazer won the 133 lbs. national title at the 2013 NCAA meet by going 4-0.

After having decisions of 31 and 3-2, DeShazer pinned the nation's number one ranked individual in just 45 seconds and then helped UNK secure the team title by beating St. Cloud State's Andy Pokorny, 7-5, in the 133 lbs. finals.
