A sophomore from Lincoln, Dawkins had a 18-0 tech fall at 133 pounds to help No. 2 UNK beat previously unbeaten Colorado Mines, 24-14, Friday in Golden.

Now 19-6 on the year, Dawkins beat Mines' Noah Ah-Yeung who has been nationally-ranked this year. Dawkins has won 12 of his last 14 matches and has nine bonus point wins on the year.
