Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney women's golf team finished up its fall season by placing sixth (678) at the Regis Invitational in Lakewood, Colo.
The 36-hole, nine-team tournament was played at the par 72 Fox Hollow G.C.
UNK, having rounds of 340 and 338, was once again led by Hastings sophomore
Sara Wissing. Coming in 8th place with a 159 (82-77), she was among the tournament leaders in pars with 21.
Jennifer Hilts of Mesa State paced the field with a 151 (76-75). Mesa (620) won the tournament by 20 strokes with Montana State-Billings second and Regis third.

Emily Carlson and Norfolk junior
Thea Baum each shot a 171 to tie for 27th place, Beatrice sophomore
Marni Stuart placed 35th (177/84-93) and Norfolk sophomore
Nicole Erwin tied for 43rd place (189/96-93).
