Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Kearney tennis teams dominated Colorado State-Pueblo and Colorado Christian Friday at Harmon Park in Kearney.
The Loper men (12-7, 3-2 RMAC) first blanked Pueblo,
9-0, and then beat the Cougars in the afternoon,
8-1. On the women's side, UNK (12-5, 5-0 RMAC) pushed its win streak to nine in a row with a
7-2 win against CSUP and a
9-0 victory over CCU.
In the win over Pueblo, senior
Kristen Messbarger and
Katie-Mary Outhwaite escaped with a 9-7 win at No. 1 doubles. The top ranked doubles team in the Central region, Messbarger and Outhwaite are now 14-1 on the spring after an 8-2 against CCU.

Josh Raymond and freshman
John Steinke also had a battle against the T-Wolves, winning by just an 8-6 score. Raymond then posted a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles over Ricardo Oaxaca.
In the March 30th region rankings, Raymond is seventh in the Central in singles and Oaxaca sixth.
Also in singles, freshman
Kyle Conzemius is now 13-2 after a pair of straight set victories. Against CCU, he won his first set against Andrew Wren 7-6 but then breezed in the second, 6-0.
UNK will battle Montana State-Billings, an affiliate member of the RMAC in tennis, tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. The Yellowjacket men are ranked 6th in the region.
