Kearney, Neb. – Four members of the Nebraska-Kearney women's golf team recently qualified for the All-American Scholar team.
 
The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) sponsors the squad with 1,497 golfers from 412 different schools making the cut this year from NCAA Division I, II and III. To qualify, a golfer must have a cumulative 3.50 GPA or higher and have played in 50% of their team's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the 2023-24 season. 
 
The Lopers to make the team were senior Allison Comer (Overland Park, Kan.), junior Juliana Botero Molina (Colombia), sophomore Beth Grant (Bonner Springs, Kan.) and freshman Liz Lyons (Olathe, Kan.). All four were part of UNK's starting lineup this past season.
