Kearney, Neb. – An unprecedented seven members of the Nebraska-Kearney women's golf team recently qualified for the All-American Scholar team.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) sponsors the squad with 1,499 golfers from 403 different schools making the cut this year from NCAA Division I, II and III. To qualify, a golfer must have a cumulative 3.50 GPA or higher and have played in 50% of their team's regularly scheduled competitive rounds through the team's conference championship during the 2024-25 season.

The Lopers to make the team were graduate student Sophia Coleman (Phoenix, Ariz.), senior Juliana Botero Molina (Colombia), juniors Beth Grant (Bonner Springs, Kan.) and Emmie Rhude (Carefree, Ariz.), sophomores Claire Berquist (Lawrence, Kan.) and Liz Lyons (Olathe, Kan.) and freshman Calie Dockter (Byron, Minn.). Each helped UNK be nationally-ranked throughout the season and qualify for NCAA Regionals for the sixth time in program history. Finally, Botero is a four-time qualifier with Grant making it for the third time and Lyons a repeat selection.

The Lopers tee it up again in September
