Fruit (Ogallala) won the 10,000 meter run at the prestigous Drake Relays last Thursday night in Des Moines, Iowa.

Beating a slew of Division I runners in the process, Fruit turned in a time of 29:50.41, nearly four seconds better than the runner up and 18 seconds faster than the school record set in 1994.

Finally, the time is an NCAA provisional effort and currently the 10th best in D2 this year.
