Ali Elias was a four-time wrestling All-American who captured two national championships at 150 pounds in 1990 and 1991. He then finished second in 1992 and third in 1993. He also was a three-time Academic All-American. Elias compiled a career record of 127-7-1. Elias, a native of Iran, was a high school world champion, junior world runner-up and six-time Iranian national champion.
