Hall of Fame
Jim Rundstrom has been chairman of the Athletic Hall of Fame committee since its inception in 1980. As chairman, the long-time alumni director who retired in 2010, has coordinated the development of guidelines for induction, researched nominee histories, organized the Hall of Fame ceremonies and has orchestrated the Hall of Fame weekend event.
Rundstrom also developed the athletic department's Teams of Distinction program that honors teams which have compiled outstanding achievements.
Rundstrom has provided other services to the athletic department. He has served on development programs for several sports. He was a charter member and officer of Lopers Supporters, the first athletic booster club. In the 1970s and 1980s, he filmed for the football teams. As alumni director, he also coordinated numerous activities in support of athletic teams and events.
