Jim Zikmund’s play at defensive back earned him a number of honors during his playing years from 1967 to 1970. He capped his career by being drafted by the Boston Patriots in 1971. Zikmund was an NAIA honorable mention All-American in 1969 and 1970, NAIA All-District in 1969 and 1970. Zikmund set school records for interceptions with four in one game, 14 in a season and 26 for his career. He was team captain his senior year.
