Don Hather was a four-year letterman in football and wrestling from 1960 to 1964. In wrestling, Hather completed his career with an undefeated record in dual competition. He was NCC champion all four years. In football, Hather was an offensive tackle and a defensive linebacker who earned NCC all-conference honors at both positions as a senior. He has been wrestling coach of the year in both Nebraska and Alaska where he was high school teacher and coach.
