Dayle Fitzke, a 1951 graduate, has provided valuable service to Antelope sports for more than 40 years. From the time he join the staff in 1956 until his retirement in 1996, he was involved in some phase of athletics from serving on the ticket selling committee to serving as faculty athletic representative. During that time he served as NAIA district eligibility chair from 1984 until 1992 when UNK became a member of the NCAA. As an athlete for the Lopers, Fitzke was a member of the basketball team and K club.
