Ken Cook was a successful high school coach who was one of the founders of the Nebraska Eight-Man All-Star Football game. After graduating from Kearney State in 1960, Cook coached at Trumbull, Douglas and Adams high schools. In 1975 and 1978 his Adams State football teams won state championships. Cook’s girls Basketball team was state champions in 1979. He has twice been Nebraska High School Coach of the Year.
