Mau Luke was a four-year volleyball letter winner from 1987 to 1990. A setter, when she graduated Luke was the career leader in assists with 4,573 and she was first in career ace serves with 327.

Luke played on very successful teams for Coach Rosella Meier including a squad that went 40-1 in 1990. That team, the first year UNK was a member of the NCAA Division II, was not selected for post season play. The 1989 team was 38-10 and CSIC champions, the 1988 team was 38-13 and CSIC co-champions and the 1987 team was 35-13 and CSIC runners-up.

As a senior, Luke was a second team Academic All-American and a member of all-tournament teams at three regional tournaments. As a junior, she was all-CSIC first team and NAIA All-American honorable mention. She was named Hanes Her Way Woman of the Year for the State of Nebraska in 1991.

She is chief financial officer for the public relations firm Global-5 Communications in Longwood, Fla.
