Doyle Fyfe was an outstanding three-sport star earning 12 letters in football, basketball and track from 1951 to 1955. He was a tackle in football, center in basketball and a weight man in track where he was conference champion in the shot and discus. In 1964 he was Colorado High School Coach of the Year at Centennial High School in Pueblo. He coached at Kearney State from 1970 to 1980.
