Dan Moore has been an outstanding high school football and track coach who has compiled one of Nebraska’s winningest . In his first 30 years as a football coach he led Ansley to two state champion teams and eight runner-ups. In that same period his track teams also won two state championships and finished second four times. Moore was a four-year letterman in cross country and track for the Antelopes. He was team captain of both as a senior, leading the squads to NCC championships. He finished 78^th at the national cross country meet as a senior and twice qualified for the NAIA national meet in the steeplechase.
