Marilyn Wiese Dubbs was an outstanding track and field performer during his career from 1974 to 1977. As a high jumper she was the first Nebraska female to clear 6 feet. She was undefeated in 16 regular season meets in 1976 and 1977. Dubbs qualified for four AIAW national meets finishing fourth as a sophomore and third as a junior. She was NAIA indoor champion twice and won the Drake Relays high jump as a senior in 1977 and again the following year.
