Lloyd F. ‘Pop’ Klein was athletic director, head of the physical education department and football coach for the Antelopes from 1935 to 1942. Klein’s eight football teams compiled a 42-21-2 record. He coached the Antelope basketball team in 1936-37. Several of his track teams, which he also coached during that period, were conference champions.
