Cathy Weir Renk made her mark in women’s basketball from 1979 to 1983. After earning all-CSIC honorable mention as a freshman, she was a first team selection in the conference the next three years. At the time of her graduation, Renk held most of the Loper scoring records. Among those records we most points in one game (34), season scoring (528), career scoring (1,504), and season scoring average (19.6). Renk led the team in scoring three years and averaged nearly 14 points a game for her career.
