Kim Vokolek Peltz was a four-year letter winner and starter for the Loper volleyball team from 1989 to 1992. She made an immediate impact, earning second team CSIC all-conference honors as a freshman. Twice she was named to the conference all-tournament team. Vokolek set the school record for career kills with 1,526, a record she held until 2004. When she graduated, she was second in games played and sixth in career digs. Vokolek was a key player on the 1990 squad that compiled a 40-1 record for Coach Rosella Meier in UNK’s first year as a member of NCAA Division II.
