Warren ‘Mike’ Monnington earned 11 letters in three different sports for the Antelopes from 1947 to 1950. The all around athlete lettered four years in basketball and track and three in football. A guard and defensive specialist, he was an All-State basketball player. He was named the Most Improved Basketball Player in 1949. On the gridiron Monnington was an offensive back, defensive halfback and the Antelope punter.
