DR. F.M. ‘Mike’ Shada made his mark in football where he earned four letters from1939 to 1943. In 1941 he was named State College Football Player of the Year after averaging more than five yards a carry from his fullback position. The Antelopes compiled an 8-0 record allowing only 13 points. Shada was a three-year pole-vaulter on the track team and a forward on the basketball team.
