During his career from 1974 to 1977, Loren Killion became the most prolific scorer in Antelope basketball history, he scored 2,100 points and averaged 19.3 points a game. He capped his career by being named to the NAIA All-American third team in 1977. The durable Killion started every game played by the Antelopes while he was at Kearney State. Following his Antelope career, he played at Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, and was named first team All-Canada. Killion played three seasons in Belgium and a year in Australia. He had a tryout with the New Orleans Jazz.
